OES Spirit Week

Good Morning OES Families,

This is just a reminder that I will be holding Christmas in the Library in my room next week for the students! During next week, up to two classes at a time visit the library for an hour. At that time, the students watch a movie while enjoying hot chocolate and decorating/eating sugar cookies. This year the students will be watching a few PREP and LANDING shorts on Disney+ (all rated G).

I will be purchasing and baking the sugar cookies from Gordon Foods but am looking for help with the rest! We still have quite a few things that need to be purchased! If you would like to donate an item, there is a Wishlist listed below. Please make sure all items are here by next Tuesday, December 16th!

Thank you to those who have already sent in their items! The students look forward to this every year, so I truly appreciate any and all help!

If your student has a food allergy, please let me know! I have a list and want to make sure I did not miss anyone! I will have alternative items for those students, so they do not miss out! I will be reaching out to families later today to confirm allergies and alternatives.

Classes will be visiting the library on the following days:

Monday, December 15th - Ulin; Harvey & Alef

Tuesday, December 16th - Hart & Hay; Rhoades & Marvin

Thursday, December 18th - Jesmore; Candella & Hulslander; Morrow

Friday, December 19th - Bartlo & Johnston

Thank you in advance for your support!!

12/10/25 Evening Activities Canceled for OCS

Dear OCS Elementary Families,

We are aware that some parents and guardians are experiencing difficulties when attempting to access elementary report cards through the link emailed earlier today. In some instances, only the first page of the report card is loading; in others, the document is not opening at all.

PowerSchool employs a process called Document Management to prepare report cards for viewing and storing the file after the email notification is sent. Due to the high volume of report cards released simultaneously, it seems that the system is processing more slowly than usual. As a result, trying to access the report card immediately may lead to errors.

If you encounter this issue, please wait a little while and try the link in your email again later today or tomorrow. We understand this is inconvenient and appreciate your patience as the system completes its processing.

If you are still unable to access your child’s report card by tomorrow, please contact your building’s secretary for assistance.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Good morning OES Families,

For the past few years, I have put on "Christmas in the Library" the week leading up to our holiday break. During this week, up to two classes at a time visit the library for an hour.

If you would like to donate an item, there are a couple of links listed below. The signup genius is for frosting containers. Please do not send in bags of decorative frosting. The 16oz frosting containers work great! The amazon link is for the rest of the items to make our cookie decorating and hot chocolate drinking a success! Please make sure all items are here by next Friday, December 12th!

If your student has a food allergy, please let me know! I have a list and want to make sure I did not miss anyone! I will have alternative items for those students, so they do not miss out!
