As we plan for the upcoming school year, we know families appreciate having important dates as early as possible to support scheduling, travel planning, and other family commitments.
While final details related to the daily schedule and full academic calendar are still being finalized, we are pleased to share several key dates for the 2026–2027 school year to assist with advance planning. Additional information, including complete school calendars for each level, will be released soon.

Key Dates for the 2026–2027 School Year
First Day of School for Students: 8/27/26
Last Day of School for Students: 6/11/27
Please note that the last day of school is dependent on the number of school days used for weather-related closures or other unforeseen circumstances and may change.
No School for Students
Labor Day Weekend: 9/4/26 & 9/7/26
Fall Break: 10/19/26 – 10/20/26
Thanksgiving Break: 11/25/26 – 11/27/26
Wildcat Remembrance Day: 11/30/26
Winter Break: 12/21/26 – 1/3/27
Midwinter Break: 2/15/27 – 2/16/27 (2/16 = Teacher PD Day)
Spring Break: 3/26/27 – 4/4/27
Memorial Day: 5/31/27
Families are also encouraged to use the Oxford Community Schools mobile app to stay connected. By searching the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you will find the Oxford Community Schools app, which appears as the Oxford Go app once installed. The app’s calendar feature makes it easy to add events directly to your personal calendar, and you can choose to turn on notifications for the district and/or specific buildings. Check it out!
