Hello Amazing DA/OES Families,
We have missed all of you and are excited to get things started for another amazing year! The time has come for the DA/OES PTO 2023 FundRun! Packets started coming home yesterday, however do not fear if it has not made it to you yet just be sure to check those backpacks today!
For those new to the schools, FundRun is the PTO’s biggest fundraising event of the year! It’s what gives us the funds and force to create the most magical events for our students and staff at both DA and OES! The online website makes it super easy to share with friends and family via text, email or social media! Be sure to set your child’s “fund page” up through the website by clicking add participant at the bottom before sending the link so that they can earn all of the amazing prizes we have planned for them this year!
To those that have never experienced a FundRun before you may be wondering, how is this fun for the kids?! Well the fundraising is just the first part, the “fund” part so to speak. The second part is the “run” part, a super fun event held during the school day where students run/walk laps and earn bracelets for every lap! All donations earned per student will also get them into certain prize brackets as well, and we have some amazing prizes lined up this year!
Unlike these type of events when we were growing up this is a flat donation and not a per/lap donation!
