Dear OES Parents and Guardians,
We have been notified that several OK2Say tips have been reported regarding the situation that occurred at OES that was communicated to the impacted class yesterday and all of our OES parents today. Reports have been made with a concern that law enforcement was not made aware of yesterday’s incident. We want to reiterate that we followed our district threat assessment protocols which include involving law enforcement in the investigation. Our School Resource Officers, who are Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies, are directly involved in these situations and were included in this particular situation. Please know, the safety and security of our students is our utmost priority.
