I aim to help students build themselves as learners, edify each other, lead in the school, serve in the local community, and connect with the world. By focusing on these areas, I expect every child to grow to be the best he or she can be.
As a teen, I lived in Montevideo, Uruguay for two years. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business from Miami University, I worked as a Commercial Loan Officer for 5 years. Then, I obtained an Elementary teaching certification through Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I taught in a bilingual school, then as an Elementary and Middle School Spanish teacher. I am currently part of an International Baccalaureate Cohort at Oakland University, where I am earning a Masters degree in Educational Studies.
