Happy Friday OES families!!
The first week in April is National Library Week and, since this is the first time in three years I've been able to celebrate it, I wanted to do something fun with the kids!!
Everyday during the week of April 4th, there will be a different activity for the students to participate in starting with a bookmark contest on Monday. The winners will have their bookmarks made up and distributed to the whole school!!
There will also be a daily question outside the library door for students to answer. A winner will be picked from every grade each day and those students will be allowed to pick a free book from the book fair the following week!!
Speaking of book fair..... the SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR is back!! It will be open Thursday, April 7th thru Wednesday, April 13th. A schedule will go home with students Monday, April 4th which will include times parents can come in and shop before and after school along with information for your student's e-wallet if you don't feel comfortable sending money into school.
