Dear OES Families,
Yesterday evening, our administration became aware of an OES student who made concerning statements while on their bus ride home. One of our School Resource Officers and Mr. Brown were contacted immediately to investigate and speak with the student and family.
Our threat assessment protocols have been followed. Although we cannot share further details with you due to the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), we want to let you know there are no safety concerns for students and staff at OES nor for bus #79.
Thank you to our students and parents who reported the situation. Your partnership and diligence allowed it to be swiftly investigated and addressed.
