Welcome to our classroom!
I value every moment and every day of working with students to help them learn about the world around them and their place in it. I take into account that each child in my classroom is a special and unique person with their own experiences, goals, strengths, and areas of challenge. I continually work towards making each child's educational experience in my classroom meaningful, individualized, and enjoyable. I appreciate parent volunteers and value parent communication. I believe that teachers, students, and parents are a team built on communication and shared purpose.
On a personal note, I love nature, taking walks down the dirt roads near my home in Metamora and gardening. I also like yoga, reading, and writing. I have traveled through the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, China, and Japan. I love discovering the world and meeting new people
